In absence of clearly defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily acts of trivia.

It is not known who first said these words but nowadays they ring ever so true in our “busy” lives.

How many times do you flit from one thing to another without ever accomplishing anything.

In this day and age it’s very easy to check your e-mail, then facebook, then twitter (or other social media), then back to your e-mail in case something new appeared in those brief moments you were away, oh, and then lets see if I’ve received a message on my favorite application…

It’s easy to get lost performing small tasks that consume a few (insignificant) minutes every so often however these quickly add up over the day.

And these “wasted” moments often come about because you don’t have any clear goals.
But not just goals, concrete steps to fulfill those goals.

At the end of the day ask yourself…
What did I accomplish?
OR
Did I just go round and round in circles?
